Each person split into teams and at a moderate pace, jog in a single file line. The person in front is replaced by the last person in line who sprints up to take his place. The team shouldn’t change in their pace as they jog. Again, when the team jogs for another ten seconds, the person at the very end of the line sprints up to the top of the line. When each team member has sprinted to the line’s head, it is finished.
Exercise using the Medicine ball with the Indian Run
A team is one single file jogging at a moderate pace. The man at the front who is carrying a medicine ball, must pass it off to the person behind him. The ball must be held above the head and the person behind grabs hold of it. Continue passing until it reaches the end of the line. The man in the rear then runs to the front and they do it again. The drill is finished when everyone gets a chance to be the head of the line.
Twenty-one Down to One
The idea is to do twenty-one push ups, followed by twenty-one crunches. The first set, each person does twenty-one push-ups and crunches, and the second set, they do twenty, and the third, nineteen, all the way down to one push-up and one crunch. The number can be changed according to the fitness level of the group.
Piggyback riding and squatting
In a big field, pair up. A partner carries his pair on his back (piggyback) to the center of the field. Once in the center, the one carrying does a selected number of squats. When done, keep carrying the partner to the other side of the field and switch off.
Try to alternate between exercises. The weight drills like the piggy back and squats, can be done one day. The running drills can be done the other days. Separate the more fit people into a team that can do more sets, and the less fit people to do smaller sets.
After each drill is finished take a rest. Everyone can rehydrate during this period. You will find that these boot camp exercised routines are really fun. When these exercises are used in team building, it is always guaranteed that boot camp workout routines always result to increased camaraderie and better teamwork.
