Eating Better Isn’t Enough to Lose Belly Fat and Lose Weight

You stand in the mirror and stare at your reflection in disbelief. You find yourself wondering how it is possible that the scales haven’t moved in spite of your efforts. The idea behind interval training is to spend a short amount of time having intervals of heavy workouts, followed by restful intervals. That would mean a person could sprint for 20 seconds as fast as they could, followed by 10 seconds of walking. This would continue until 8 or 10 repetitions are done. This has shown to increase metabolism, which in turn burns more calories for longer periods of time, not to mention will help lose belly fat.

The muscles need time to heal between interval training workouts, so it is advised not to do interval training more than three times a week. It doesn’t mean that you can’t work out at all but try strength training or another form of exercise. Combine strength training and you may notice that you lose belly fat even faster. It’s important that in addition to working out, that you also add a healthy diet to your lifestyle, which will allow you to see the numbers on the scales move faster.
